Sunrise EHR

Sunrise (now under Altera Digital Health is an EHR built for large clinical enterprises.

Sunrise EHR is designed to support physicians in their decision-making by providing aggregated patient information, documentation, and events via a user-friendly interface.

It uses a decision support engine to amalgamate patient data and provides key information to physicians to aid them in the diagnosis and treatment processes, which allows physicians to enter information in real-time as they interact with patients. 

Sunrise EHR has key features for integrated medication management, enabling physicians and pharmacists to share information in real time about patients’ medication and well-being.

The platform has a radiology module that enables radiologists and physicians to cooperate in a paperless environment, streamlining decision-making and reducing treatment time.

What is Sunrise EHR?

Sunrise Clinical Manager is an electronic health records (EHR) system built by Allscripts, now under Altera Digital Health.

The charting system enables physicians to keep track of patient charts and use searches, as well as handle electronic medical records.

Does Sunrise have an app?

Sunrise EHR is a Windows-based application, implemented either on-premise, as a hosted service, or in the cloud. There is also a native iOS application.
