ObGyn-Cloud

ObGyn-Cloud is a cloud-based EHR and practice management solution for obstetricians and gynecologists. It was launched by WRS Health to address the unique clinical workflows of OB/GYN practices.

The platform integrates key practice functions like scheduling, billing. and clinical documentation into one cohesive system, freeing providers to focus on patient care rather than administrative processes.

ObGyn-Cloud is fully certified for government standards (ONC-ATCB), meaning it supports MIPS/MACRA incentive programs and meets HIPAA compliance requirements.

Practice management 

Beyond clinical documentation, ObGyn-Cloud includes a full suite of practice management tools natively integrated with the EHR. Appointment scheduling is flexible and customizable, allowing the creation of different visit types (annual exams, new OB intake, procedures, etc.) with adjustable time slots to reflect the practice’s workflow.

The calendar can be viewed by day, week, or month, and supports recurring appointments for routine follow-ups. Automated appointment reminders (via email or text) are built in too, aimed at reducing no-shows. Patient intake is streamlined through the patient portal: patients can fill out screening questionnaires and update demographics online before their visit, letting providers review this information in advance.

During check-in and check-out, ObGyn-Cloud guides staff through a structured 4-step workflow – covering everything from insurance eligibility verification and co-pay collection to scheduling follow-ups and printing referral letters

OB/GYN-specific features

A major strength of ObGyn-Cloud is its specialization in women’s health. The system comes pre-loaded with specialty-specific templates and content for OB/GYN encounters, including standardized ACOG forms for obstetric history and prenatal care documentation.

Common OB/GYN conditions and procedures (e.g. PCOS, pap smears, prenatal visits) have ready-made charting templates that can be further customized to fit each provider’s preferences. This means less time spent creating notes from scratch and more consistent record-keeping across the practice. The EHR also supports voice-recognition charting and free-text input, so physicians can document in whatever manner is most efficient.

For obstetrical care, ObGyn-Cloud tracks the patient through pregnancy and postpartum visits with dedicated workflows – ensuring key data (like prenatal flow sheet entries, lab results, and ultrasounds) are captured and easily accessible in one place.

The system also provides reminders and decision-support alerts tailored to OB/GYN care, such as notifying staff about follow-ups (e.g. postpartum checks, mammogram recalls) and flagging out-of-range values on prenatal tests.
